{ space tier+ } general update 9.8.23

hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's been a bit, but i hope you all are well! i've taken a solid few weeks to rest and not focus on work too much after finishing part 2, so forgive me for not being too active on here in that time ^^;; but i'm back to working on stuff and getting through a sort of roadmap i've prepared for what i'd like to do before i'm fully back into video production with part 3. there's a good bit i'd like to have ready and set up before i work on a huge video again, between captions for videos, neocities stuff, and the comment response streams, but i figured giving a general update of sorts on what i plan to do for the patreon short term wouldn't hurt now that it's been a bit since the video's release.

first off, as always, thank you all for supporting me in any way, let alone through something like patreon. it's absolutely no obligation, and im already making a solid amount through youtube/adsense, but i'd be lying if i was saying that the patreon hasn't helped rather significantly with boosting the amount i've been able to make monthly. for now i'm saving up most of it, but it absolutely will be going into if i ever need more resources for future videos and the such. i hope to only have more stuff to provide to you all, regardless of what tier you're pledged to.

which, speaking of! since part 2 is officially done, i'm going to be making a new post for star tiers and up soonish with some BTS shit and what have you from that video's production, it'll likely be containing elements from a few of the more visually intense bits of part 2 and also maybe another script draft??? + some of the music that i Altered for a few bits of it. for the script draft itself, i'm currently just torn on if i'll be including everything up to the end of part 2, or if i may as well throw the entire script in at this point, since i know that i intend to tweak a lot of stuff for part 3's script and audio, and so a lot of it is probably not going to be what i actually edit part 3 with after all.

i still think the script i wrote initially way back in early 2023 is alright, btw! i don't think it's necessarily bad, but i do think that, especially with how sudden shit like the intermission segment in part 2 was (you wont even find the script for that segment in the pdf i'll be sending in that post btw, it came about as i was editing part 2 and i had written the initial script *months* beforehand, that's how spur of the moment it was), as much as i Could technically start editing part 3 immediately, i think i can simply do the flow and structure of it Even Better so, if i can help it i'm gonna be refining it further until it feels up to date with my current feelings on the theory and what i think the "message" of the game could even be.

aside from that though, it's hard for me to tell Exactly what's in store for star tiers...it'll be a bit before i really get to working on part 3, but i think to make up for that, i could share scripts and audio n the such as i go before editing, since a lot of the material i can provide often pops up mid-editing, when i actually have stuff to Show of what i'm working on. i might think of some other stuff if i don't have much of part 3 to show this month or in october, so we'll see how that goes (or lemme know what else you'd like to see in that tier in terms of benefits! i'm still pretty new to this sorta thing in some ways so i'm open for feedback and to see what people would like to have in return for supporting me this way).

as for comet tiers and above though, since i'll be probably getting back to a personal project of mine soon for a bit to keep myself creatively fresh-minded, i do expect to have plenty to show y'all in the coming weeks. more concept art, concept sprites, music, what have you, as i work on that project more, i'm gonna have quite a bit more material to put in here for your enjoyment and to get a peek at What Else i'm doing JKLDJKLGH i may even have something for NULL tiers soonish, nothing Too big but smth i've been considering putting together for a good while now in its current state, just to see how people feel about it.

overall, a lot of stuff on the horizon! i also have another announcement coming soon that i plan to do for my community in general, but my patrons will be the first to have access to it for a lil >:) mostly just to make sure it actually Works for patrons in general, it's not a video, but it's certainly smth that i think has had decent demand over the past few months and is just abt ready to launch, it's rlly up to me and once i feel ready to do so lol.
