Joxer is one of my favorites. Hopefully you’ll grow to kinda enjoy him as it goes on. I do love Callisto. She is a great villain and whenever she pops up, it makes the episodes that much better.

2024-08-26 23:53:42 +0000 UTCThis is a fantastic episode. Callisto makes for such a great Villian! Also, don't worry you're not annoying about Xena & Gabrielle. I think most felt this way while first watching lol. Xena at this point in the show 100% knows she has romantic feeling for Gabrielle. Gabrielle is the only one at this point who may genuinely be confused about what she's feeling.

It's more true for Herc and Xena than it is for, probably, any other shows. ... A note: at the beginning of Episode 6 ("Warrior ... Princess ... Tramp") we see Joxer and Gabrielle talking about an encounter involving the two of them, Xena, and Callisto. However, the dialogue makes it clear that they are discussing the events of the first season episode "Callisto," not this one, "Return of Callisto." That's not the reason it was suggested to switch the order of the episodes, but it should be noted that it's not a spoiler. (I think it's been established that "Warrior ... Princess ... Tramp" was originally going to be the 2nd episode of the season.) ... This is a great episode, for many reasons. Callisto is an awesome villain, and Gabrielle had such a set of experiences here. Xena's best moment was her plaintive prayer to any gods listening to help Gabrielle. ... I was surprised you expected Xena to let Callisto die; that's usually a shock. ... I like Joxer. ... That was a great reaction.
