"Is this the same kind of intro as the UK one?" It's not just the same kind of intro -- it's exactly identical in every way! π All they changed is the headshots of the host and two team captains. I don't think I've ever seen the AU version of this, nice! I love Rob/David/Lee on the UK version, but I think this shows that the format works very well even without them. Re: Franks lie, I think you were right. It was just a set up for some that physical comedy bit. I feel like they do that with Lee Mack all the time -- his cards are often obviously lies and he doesn't even try to convince people they are true -- sometimes it's just a set up for Lee to run with and be funny for a few minutes.
