Let Justice Be Done Ch. 77

The stay at the Gremory Castle afterwards went without much fanfare. Soft of.

Dinner was a nice affair Tsufaame noted, yet sadly she didn't have much time to converse with Lady Tuilelaith, as the discussion was overtaken by Tuilelaith's want to join the war effort.

"Why do you deny me the accolades of glory, Mother!? Do you only seek to stifle me from my destiny like some pitiful king that is foretold his death by his progeny, thus casts it away only to meet that end regardless?" Tuilelaith demanded, slamming her fist on the long table, then removed her hand, as she was still a lady. It totally wasn't because she hit the table too hard, and her hand hurts.

"Tuilelaith, you're not even a year old. You not joining the war effort until you're old and strong enough." Venelana said back with a sigh, while Zeoticus gave Serilina an apologetic smile at the impolite display.

Serilina for her part shook her head that she didn't mind, as she covered her mouth to hide her smile and focus on not giggling.

"Lies and slander! My might can uplift mountains like Heracles, and my magic eclipses Hecate like a volcano eclipses a match." Tuilelaith said dramatically, calling on her meager demonic power and raising her hand. "Behold!"

Tsufaame tensed for a moment, while the adults weren't even bothered.

Tuilelaith's power surged up, gathered and condensed into...

"Honey, the entirety of your spell," Zeoticus said in a diplomatic tone. "Is the size of a marble." He said at the amount of Power of Destruction she managed to summon and shape.

"A DOOM MARBLE!" Tuilelaith said dramatically as she threw her hand to the side and the Power of Destruction made marble flew off. "Oh crap."

Tsufaame watched in awe and horror as the destruction marble zipped around the room rebounding off the ground, walls and ceiling destroying small objects like plates, vases, or the glasses on Barbara's tray.

Zeoticus ducked as the marble passed by. Venelana leaned away for it. Tsufaame watched at the marble seemed to head directly to her, her eyes widened as the destruction marble seemed to move in slow motion toward her head.

"Don't worry! I got it! I got it!" Tuilelaith shouted as she tried to control her power. She didn't succeed.

A silver tray blocked Tsufaame's view and the sound of the marble hitting it and bounding away echoed in front of Tsufaame's face. She looked up to see it was the Gremory Servant, Tuilelaith's minion, Barbara that saved her.

Lady Tuilelaith must have ordered her to protect me for this demonstration. Tsufaame thought with wide-eyes.

The marble after rebounding around enough headed towards Serilina. The Satan just raised a land lazily, and the destruction marble hit the back of her hand and dispersed, vanishing to nothing.

Silence fell on the room for a bit as everyone looked at a Tuilelaith that was hiding her mortification with a smug smile of success.

"Have you witnessed it! It took the Satan of the Watery Abyss to stop my attack. Clearly, I am ready," Tuilelaith stood on her chair and put one foot on the table. "FOR WAAAAAR--AAAAH!" Then she began to fall, but Barbara moved and caught her from under her armpits and helped her down to sitting on her chair again.

Tuilelaith quickly tried to act like she didn't slip and lost her balance, just coughing and placed her hands on her lap, to look like a dignified lady. Behind her back, she used her telekinesis to move one of the cookies from the snack jar, and floated it to Barbara's side, who stealthily took her silence reward--bribe--and ate it openly.

"Tuilelaith, sweetie, we dodged your attack, because it's too small to grab, and it stings when it hits, not because it's fatal." Zeoticus said in a serious tone, before sighing. "Also you're grounded."

"What!?" Tuilelaith shouted in disbelief. Zeoticus mentally prepared himself for his daughter ranting at him. He did not prepare for her to turn to her mother and berate her instead. "Damn you, Duchess! If you're going to sentence me to the Tantalus prison, at least have the hardihood to condemn me yourself, rather than force my poor father to do your dirty deeds."

"Err, what?" Zeoticus asked in confusion.

"Tooly, you're father had made his decision. Do not disrespect and undermine him like that, young lady." Venelana said in a serious tone, yet was dreading why her daughter accused her to being in control of her husband.

"Silence, wench! While my poor father may suffer in silence under your machinations everyday, unable to speak his mind, I most certainly will!" Tuilelaith said passionately as she stood up again.

"Tooly, dear," Serilina spoke, with an amused smile. "What are you talking about? Your father seems fine." Her smile widened at Venelana's glare, as Serilina was enabling Tuilelaith's behavior in her own way.

"I suppose the subtle deceits of my mother's feminine wiles would be too imperceptive even for Lady Serilina to notice. Truly she's more cunning than Semiramis." Tuilelaith said while shaking her head. Venelana mouth 'Semiramis?' to her husband wonder who that was again. "For you see Lady Leviathan!"

"Yes?" Serilina asked with a raised eyebrow.

"My mother has entrenched my father's will, with her mating calls!" She declared.

"What?" Serilina snorted as she she couldn't stop her grin from widening at that unexpected statement.

"Tuilelaith!" Venelana shouted as she stood up scandalized, with Zeoticus's jaw dropping as his face reddened as he understood his daughter's implications.

"I will not be silenced!" Tuilelaith shouted back. "My father has been dominated by my mother's giant posterior every night!" Tsufaame and Serilina turned to look at said ass, causing Venelana to sit down while glaring at them with a blushing face. "She had bewitched him as every woman who had intercourse with an animal in Greek history."

"Yeah, none of those women were 'enchanted'." Zeoticus said under his breath while looking to the side.

"She had used her siren voice and peacock dresses and moves to enthrall him to do her bidding. I can not condemn my father, when he's being plotted against so diabolically."

"Aren't male peacocks the one that attract mates with their looks?" Barbara wondered out loud.

"So what you're saying is..." Serilina began to ask.

"SHE'S GIVING HIM THE SEGGS!" Tuilelaith said with all the accusation she could muster.

Zeoticus and Venelana covered their faces in shame, even thought they were devils. Tsufaame in awe of Tuilelaith's bravery and rebellious spirit. Barbara was wondering when she can eat more sweets.

And Serilina slammed her head on the table and covered it with her arms, as she lost her breath laughing.

AN: Yeah, I'm not feeling like writing too much today, so here's just some short fun thing. Maybe. Plot progression next chapter. Probably.

Man, Tooly is such a riot. Even I am feeling second hand embarrassment though.
