For the people of Earth Bet, the ones following the news, or even more, the ones who were, lucky or unlucky, to watch part of the Event, as it unfolded, was like watching a massive car pile accident in motion. It was captivating chaos and destruction.
But for the villains that witnessed the Event, or worse were a target of it, it was a horror show where they are the movie victim.
It started with glowing white feathers filling the skies of Asia and Europe.
They drifted down slowly, as if brought by some crazed weather tinker invention.
Some countries declared them a hazard not to be touched until studied for any negative effects. Some didn't respond fast enough, not seeing them as dangerous. Some tried to analyze them, but none of the feathers could be grabbed, as if an invisible wind, friction and physics itself made sure they can't be held. Some tried to gather them in one place so they are no longer a public nuisances, but that didn't work either.
Up in the sky above, Raguel with his Binah Radiance saw all of this, mentally targeted all the villain capes, that needed to either die, be crippled or knocked out.
He didn't bother with a warning. He gave the CUI and the Gesellschaft two days. Those that superstitiously--although it wouldn't be superstitious--or opportunistically surrendered to policy, due to one reason or another where spared.
The coming culling would be warning enough.
Raguel held one of the feathers, activated the Gevurah Valor, filling the feather with Light, then let it fire a beam, connecting it to its sibling.
Then like a reflection of mirrors, the ray of Light shot from one feather to another, even refracting in one to multiple rays, and like a laser grid, the Light passed through tens of thousands of feathers per second.
"Silent Execution."

When Übermensch got the warning sent by Kaiser of their future branch from the US, he took note of it, but dismissed it.
He had heard of the new parahuman taking the world news by storm, but didn't fear him. Powerful cape on the level of the Protectorate Triumvirate were extremely rare but none were invincible.
One can not challenge an institution, a monolith, a world power on their own. It's why none of the world governments or the pitiful UN could take control back of the countries the Gesellschaft took conquered. And neither could the Triumvirate or anyone else do anything about it, more than token effort.
So what was the threat of one, albeit powerful, cape?
The second day came, and feathers began to fall. Gesellschaft immediately acted to at least be on alert of any enemy action.
Then the Light descended from the heavens, and all defenses or preparations were worthless.
The Light passed from one feather to another at the speed of, well, light and was obstructed, stopped or slowed down, no matter what was between the two feathers.
Übermensch got to live long enough to hear the cries of surprise, shock and terror of his subordinates from hundreds of different channels. From those that died on the spot, to those that lost limb, the Light blasting through their elbows or kneecaps or other body parts.
Buildings, walls, barriers from parahuman powers or tinkertech, either the Light passed through it, or traveled around it through other feather acting as reflecting points and hit their targets all the same.
Übermensch saw his world, his empire that grabbed a piece of the world for over a decade be systematically physically destroyed. He thought that surely if he and his generals could survive then at least they could rebuild, they would have the financial support of it.
Only for any money holders, or banks that or any one that holds their assets to be hit as well. Then the cyber attacks struck from Dragon.
As for the CUI, the Yàngbǎn was taken down near instantly. Shén Yù didn't even have time to act or plan even with a warning from his power as he died the moment the attack began. Null and One were taken out in short order, then the other members of the Yàngbǎn were either killed or knocked out with their brainwashing broken, not just in Asia was the world over.
Thus in a single afternoon, two of the world's powers were vanquished.
Übermensch final thoughts, was of wondering if God really did exist, and if he had finally run out of patience with Earth Bet.

When the attack began Kaiser was sitting in his office in anticipation. He was sure Raguel would fail, killed and made an example of.
Yet the feeling of dread didn't subside. After all, Raguel had taken out all S-Class threats the world over, that meant he was a power onto his own.
Yet, no one person could just...declare war on a world power. That was madness.
Then the Reckoning as it came to be called came, and Kaiser could only watch as the world learned what the wrath of a good man was.
He saw the reports that came from secret channels he had with the Gesellschaft, watched as news reports talked about the feathers flying through out Asia and Europe.
Then the Light descended down acting like a laser grind that turned on and off at odd intervals, and within minutes, two world powers were destroyed.
Sure can't say the Gesellschaft and the CUI were gone, as they were still buildings, office worker, and government structure present.
Yet all capes were either killed or knocked out. All normal enforcers were in the same condition to a lesser degree sans those that got on the ground and surrendered right away.
This had been a thunderclap that shook that world over.
Then Raguel voice was heard through television, radios and any communication device for those in power, governments or otherwise.
"Let the countries of Europe and China have their peace and rebuild or else."
A message that many wanted to challenge on principle or war profiteering if nothing else, but no one wanted to be the first to try.
Then Raguel teleported over the Medhall building, floating outside Max Ander's office.
"Go ahead," the devil told him. "Gather up your forces, call on all your people. Or you can just surrender. Just know at this point I'm not feeling that merciful, so you get ten seconds."
Maybe it was his pride, or his trained instincts from being a cape and being in battles for years on end, but Kaiser pressed the panic button to send out a call to his troop, his Empire Eighty Eight, and summoned his suit of armor.
He launched iron spears with a war cry that on reflected was one of terror and despair.
Ten seconds later, the E88 ceased to be.

Lisa had been watching newsfeed on the internet, be if from PHO, news sites, or even secret government information sites, waiting for Raguel's move.
She didn't need to.
It was such a public move that it couldn't be hidden or covered up.
And then there was his declaration at the end, before he went to take out the E88.
This would have repercussions. Lisa thought in dread.
Governments will prepare martial laws in case he appeared in them. At least Great Britain and its allies would consider him an enemy, regardless of any positive outcomes of this. Her power told her. Japan and other countries affected or were under threat by the CUI would use this change to infiltrate China and influence it's restructure. Some would want to openly defy Raguel's order, but no one wants to have the countries destroy cape focus on them. Her power kept providing other details of this on a global scale.
The PRT and US government were in plain panic over what happened, as immediately whistleblowers are revealing the sham arrest and birdcage sentence that was given to Raguel.
Lisa, with her power confirming this, gave the estimation that the PRT as an organization won't exist by the end of the month.
There were many other thoughts in her head, but stopped when a flash of light happened in her living room as Raguel teleported in.
"Hey," he said looking slightly sweat...and yet very appealing.
Physically fine, but mentally drained from the feat he just preformed.
"Sorry but do you mind if I crash in your bed for a while. I'm feeling a bit sleepy after everything." He said, his smile doing things to her nether parts.
Very susceptible to intimate acts right now. Likely won't reject any advances right out and would reciprocate.
"Um, Lisa, everything okay? ...You're mad, aren't you?" He said warily, given the look Lisa was giving him.
Has more than enough energy to tire you out.
Lisa jumped Raguel, wrapping her arms and legs around him as she vigorously tongue kiss him.
