Let Justice Be Done Ch. 60
Added 2021-10-11 19:51:43 +0000 UTCThe Binah Radiance was a very enlightening power.
Raziel had always thought she was perceptive, and her senses and capability to see into the depth of people, powers, events, etc. was masterful.
Using the Binah Radiance had shown her how much she had to go, to truly embody her name, and grasp wisdom at its core.
For example, while she had yet to truly do soul reading as her Father and youngest brother can do, she could now see souls, at least the surface level of them.
And what she saw in Raguel's soul confused her.
The souls of angels, or her Seraph siblings, were similar. With the angels' souls being made in a uniform manner, with a divinity with the closest likeness to God's Light, with the Archangels just being that on a bigger and deeper scale.
Of course, Raziel does not know what God's soul is like. She doesn't think she could actually see it if she looked, but more than that she wouldn't dare to do something like that unless God gave her permission.
Raguel's soul was like an Archangel's true, but...smaller, in a sense, as if it was an ordinary angel's. It's why meeting him for the first time, might confuse the person to whether Raguel was an angel or an Archangel. More than that thought, was the sheer complexity it had. Raziel couldn't even begin to puzzle it out. Raguel's soul almost has the same security measures as the Sacred Gears.
But it gave somewhat of a credence to the idea that Raguel held knowledge of the future. Or maybe that was just Raziel's hunch. It might be wrong, but it was among the topics she wanted to talk with her Father about.
"Go ahead, Raziel." God spoke, once he was finished with constructing a red gauntlet Sacred Gear, and placed it in one of the storages to be used later once a magical beast is defeated to be placed in it.
Raziel had arrived to see God working, and waited with God allowing her to watch and learn.
"Father...I wanted to ask about some of the things, Raguel said during the Battle of Orkney." Raziel began. "Was Raguel given knowledge of the future?"
"Yes," The Creator nodded. "Raguel had knowledge of certain events from the start. However it relates to the far future rather than anything close to now. Thus till he reaches the appointed time, his life till then can be seen as training and preparation."
Raziel gapped in awe at her Father's omniscience and foresight.
"But then, how does he know so much about the current era?" She wondered.
"Some of the knowledge he has can be practically used for the present time. As for how he knows so much? He doesn't always, he just uses his best guess. You should really talk to him more, if you are that interested." God smile, and Raziel ducked her head in slight sheepish embarrassment.
She didn't ask Raguel because she would rather spend time with her Father, but she would make sure to spend time with Raguel later. It's always interesting and entertaining.
However the other reason...
"Father," Raziel spoke, feeling trepidation. "What Raguel said to Lucifer and Lilith, about you..." she couldn't say it, but continued. "That was just to taunt them, right? To sour even the possibility of their victory, right?"
God looked upon His child kindly, as he knew this question was coming.
He stepped up to Raziel, held His child to His bosom and rubbed her head.
"Death comes to us all, Raziel." He spoke, and Raziel's eyes began to tear up, before her mind caught up to the words.
"no."
"However it is because there is an end, that what we do matters, that our actions carry the weight of the universe."
"Why!?" She cried out. "How? That's impossible." Raziel looked up to meet her Father's gaze, tears streaming down her face. "Father is Perfect. You are Eternal, thus that simply can not be true!"
"And while those aspects of me are true, there will come a day where I will no longer be here." He gently explained.
"No, there must be something, something I, we can..." Raziel stared at nothing as her thoughts ran wild. "There must be another way." Her eyes widened, as an idea came to her. "The Beast of the Apocalypse." She said, standing back and looked at her Father, as the pieces of this picture appeared to her. "You die defeating it. That's why you showed it to Raguel right after he was made, so he would understand the magnitude, of, of...of everything!" She tried to explain with clever words, but discarded it for just getting the words out.
"That would have been, how it originally would have happened." God nodded. "However, Raziel, there is a reason why my death will come."
"No, it doesn't." She said hasilty, shaking her head. For the first time in her life, Raziel defied God, rather just accept His words and think on their deeper meaning. "We'll just have to defeat it more soundly this time. We'll..." Her mind raced as she thought of what possible way, the epic feat of killing the Trihexa could happen.
Her thoughts lead to Raguel, the Battle of Orkney once more.
"The Sephirot." She looked back to her Father, her eyes lighting up with hope. "That's what we should have done. What we should be doing all along. Training ourselves with it. That's what Raguel meant, 'to lighten your burden' Father." She understood now, the deeper meaning in those words.
Yet, that's not what Raguel meant. He was speaking of the duties God carried besides defeating the Beast.
To prepare for when He is gone.
Before God could correct her, Raziel continued. "We need to tell the rest of the Seraphs about your Great Task. So that they can help you, Father!"
Her voice was glowing with determination, but to the Creator it was a plea. A plea for a child to not lose their parent.
Maybe He should be strict here, yet the lesson Raziel needed to learn here, is one she will learn in time, from the events soon to come.
"Very well," He nodded, to which Raziel let out a joyous gasp, her smile overcoming her. "I will not dissuade you from this path, but do not forget my earlier words. I will be waiting for when you are ready to listen to them."
"...Yes, Father." She hated that, in her heart, she disagreed with her Father on this point, that she will never come to talk about...that topic in greater detail in order to understanding it.
Because it will never happen. Because there is no need to delve into it.
"Now then, I suppose we do have a good opportunity to do this, in this moment of peace, with all other factions busy." Raziel eyes lit up in excitement, ready to go gather the rest of the Archangels. "Raziel, gather up everyone."
"...'Everyone'?" She tilted her head, blinked at the statement a few times.
===x===
All of Heaven, all the Angels and all the Archangels, were gathered, and taken the End of the World.
There was terror upon seeing the caged Enemy of the End.
There was awe and wonderstruck at seeing the Almighty's power, and knowledge of His Great Task.
And many more reactions, as all of Heaven began to understand God's Great Task.
"This is 666, Trihexa, the Emperor Beast of Apocalypse. It is the Embodiment of Suffering." God explained. "It is the enemy I will one day fully seal and the one, you my children, all of you, Angels and Humans alike will one day vanquish."
The sheer love and conviction in their Father's words washed away any fear and doubt, and all the Angels vowed to help their Father succeed in his Great Task.
Heaven's resolve burned ever more fierce for this Great Undertaking.

AN: I'm using underlining for God's voice, since there are no colors here, and it makes it easier for when I post things on FF dot Net later on.
