Hutt Ahsoka... Complete!

"Rotta was very unusual, for a Hutt.  Although he eventually inherited much of his father's wealth, he never quite had the deviousness and all-consuming avarice to properly follow in Jabba's footsteps, much to the dismay (or relief) of the Hutt families.

But like all Hutts, he did enjoy the finer things in life.  It's just that his tastes ran strangely to art, music, and theater, rather than violence and degradation.  One might even go so far as to guess that Rotta's comparatively poetic nature was due to an incident in his childhood -- when he was kidnapped by the Sith apprentice Asajj Ventress.  It was only for a brief time, but it proved to be rather formative.  Not only was he separated from his father, but he also fell deathly ill, only to be saved and returned to his home by... a certain Togruta.

In his infant mind, she was his angel, his inspiration, his muse.  As he grew to adulthood, Rotta sought to find the kindness and beauty that she'd shown him in all things.  His proclivities made him something of an outcast among the Hutts, but made him more acceptable to the galaxy at large.  He might have been one of the few of his species who ever had genuine friends outside of the Hutt clans.

Rotta often thought that the angelic figure from his blurry memories was a dream, a hallucination, or perhaps an angel from the moons of Iego.  It wasn't until years later that he learned, quite by chance, that others could corroborate the story.  She -- the nameless, ethereal being who graced his dreams -- had been real.  She had a name -- Ahsoka Tano -- and she had become a figure of some reknown to those who remembered the vanished Jedi.

Rotta expended all his resources to find her, searching the galaxy far and wide.  Amazingly, after several strokes of luck, he FOUND her.  And she was everything he remembered, and more.

Rotta might have been unusual in his habits, but he was still a Hutt, and was thus driven to possess all that he desired.  Once he had glimpsed the object of his adoration, he could not bear to be parted from her ever again.

He also decided to give her the greatest gift he could think of -- to become his wife.  This would requite some strandcasting, of course, which had worked fairly well for his father and great-uncle Ziro.  Other races such as the Togruta just couldn't be expected to appreciate the Hutt lifestyle until they could TASTE it themselves.

As for Ahsoka Tano, her ending was not as tragic as one would suppose.  After a lifetime of hardship, war, and betrayal, she found that the life of a Hutt was... not that bad, all things considered.  It took her a bit of time to acclimate herself to wallowing  in luxury and gorging on endless delicacies,  but once she did, she rarely regretted the new path her life had taken.
