Before anything else, I just want to announce that v1.3.00 for LCL will be released for early access on November 2-4. I was thinking of releasing a bit for a v1.2.50 but it'll just make things redundant. So I'll just bulk everything down for v1.3. Stay tuned!!
As we keep working on updates for LCL these past few weeks, the team has started drafting the plans for the next Lovecraft Locker. What we decided at the moment is called "Lovecraft Locker: Tentacle Asylum", which, as the name suggests, is set in an asylum.
Why an "Asylum" though?
Well, we want to honor our usage of the term "Lovecraft" even more and really dive deeper into the realm of Lovecraftian horror. What's the best setting for some "madness" mechanics than a mental hospital? Does Arkham Asylum ring a bell?
Here's a rough sketch of the new look for this supposed "successor" for LCL:

Tentacle Asylum won't be a remake or a spin-off for Tentacle Lust, as it's going to be a bit of both. It's also kinda a sequel as well. So, "successor" is a better term.
I plan to overhaul a bunch of stuff for this next Lovecraft Locker and expand further on the "locker" mechanic (like the ability to lock a violent girl in a locker). I'm also thinking of doing a proper map system this time, instead of the "level-based" system that's current in Tentacle Lust. The "Tentacle Gods" mechanic will also be added to this game as well which was originally planned for LCL:TL.
Anyway, what do you guys think? As always, ideas are welcome!
