Author's Note

We're finally done with the first volume of Ashes of Heaven, something that i never thought would happen anytime soon due to the lack of feedbacks back when i first wrote this story. But you, my dear patrons, stepped up and offered your support, and that was perhaps what convinced me to churn out this story daily, realizing that some people out there genuinely enjoys my story, and i do not want to disappoint them.

After finishing the first volume, i cannot help but feel that lots of parts in it were rushed roughly, making me cut corners on some more intricate details that could have set up a springboard for the world-building. But perhaps that was also necessary. Because i wanted to prove that i could write a story worth reading, and the majority of the readers were too impatient to wait for me to build up a better climax. Heck, most readers didn’t get past chapter ten because our protagonist made a lot of mistakes due to his inexperience... but let's not talk about those sad stuff. This should be a happy note.

I'm sure you're anticipating the twists and turns of events in the volume two, and boy that volume has a LOT of those. It's going to be bigger than the first volume, It's going to contain stuff that will stay relevant till the end of this series, It's going to have lots of cultivation shtick, It's going to finally reveal some secrets surrounding Xuhan himself ( did you really think he randomly reincarnated? hahahah *demonic laughter* ), and It's going to end with a bang.

So I'll go now and start working on the first chapter of the second volume, which should be released by tomorrow night. Compared to the first volume, there are going to be some changes in this one. For example :

1. Higher word count per chapter

2. A slightly slower pace.

3. The start of some long running subplots, which may not seem relevant at first. But they're gonna have some real effects once the intergalactic politics come into light...hehe.

4. A bit of slice-of-lifey compared to the first volume, by which, i mean that there won't be a large number of serious life and death battles. There is going to be lots of action, but not like volume one.

5. And lastly, Han Xuhan is gonna step onto the path of becoming the gang leader of a skeleton army ! No Longer a weakling ! Although he'll probably act like one to troll people...ahem.

So once again, thank you so much guys, for becoming my patrons and showing your support. It means a lot to me as a newbie writer. I'll do my best to give you an awesome story to read.
