Editors Notes: Whorra's Arch (Spoilers).
Added 2019-03-28 20:58:38 +0000 UTCSo I don't know if i ever made this clear or not-
But let's discuss Korra's arch for a moment:
Basically her arch comes at the tail end of the story, soon after she discovers her freedom powers (aka air).
During this time of the story, Korra has been fully trained and broken in by Tarloc's training methods. Despite being fully trained and having now accepted her place as a woman in this world.
It's during her final encounter with the diabolical Mellon Merchant, to which she unlocks her power of freedom. Which she uses to check his sexual advances towards her just long enough, in order for her to put a stop to Amons schemes. Shes does this in pure defiance to the laws of men, laws that a woman must never cross. Or else severe punishments are met.
Its through this defiance that Korra truly understands what it means to be the Taboo. Practicing and respecting the laws of men. But having the courage to defy them, if necessary to better help protect/serve men.
That's Her Arch in a nutshell really.
Her learning her proper place in the world. While growing as a character that must defy the standards of tradition, while also trying to uphold them as the Taboo. Even at the cost of being sexually humiliated/punished for doing so afterwards. Legendary warrior or not, Korra is still a woman after. Bitch needs to learn her place!
I can only image the stories that can be told from this sweet combination of sexual drama.
Everytime she saves the world. She's immediately rewarded with a firm spanking/raping for defying her masters orders to stay put during the action. xD hahaha!
