App version 3.47.0 is live now - New character type and script tool update!

Hey folks. First of all, feast your eyes on our glorious, new script tool. The old one was getting rather...well...old. This new one includes a whole bunch of awesome features, including - mobile support, homebrew viewing, a two-column layout akin to the official scripts, the ability to save and load scripts within the web page, support for translations, a system that checks for common script issues and warns you about them, and the ability to search by ability text. Shoutout to the power users on our subreddit, who will hopefully now have to spend less of their time telling new script-builders that they need to include some outsider manipulation and poisoning on their creations.

Secondly, a new character type has now been added to the app. The Loric are similar to Fabled in that they modify the game in some way. Unlike Fabled, however, they exist to cause problems rather than fix them. They're purely for fun and a great way to add some spice into the game for folks who have played a lot of Clocktower. The first two, Big Wig and Tor, have been added today. You can expect a new Loric each month for the foreseeable future.

Hi Dan, this filter only works if you have previously loaded a script with homebrew characters on it. By itself (and without those characters) it does nothing. We're going to hide it in that case, with the next update. :-) - bra1n

Hi, is there an explanation of how 'homebrew viewing' works anywhere? I can see a filter option for it but can't find any info on how to add homebrew characters.

Hi Bjรถrn, the German translations are already on the app, at least for Base 3. As for the script tool, a German interface translation will go live there soon as well. As for the game content, we need to wait for Funtails to translate the experimental characters first, before we can put the translation on the Script Tool, because otherwise you would end up with a mix of English and German characters. - bra1n

Hi, very good news. Are you planning to implement the German translations? Best regards Bjรถrn
