Here is my June dormitory diary entry.
Recently, I participated in my first 'rush check.' It was a bit nerve-wracking because there were people I don't usually interact with, like the director, finishers, and compositors.
During the rush check, people from different departments suggest retakes. I learned a lot of new things, and it really broadened my perspective. We review the footage cut by cut, and everyone comments on anything that stands out. I'm not very confident speaking in front of others, so I was worried, but I think I managed to express my thoughts. However, I have many points to reflect on and will be more careful next time.
From now on, I'll be handling the retake checks from the rush while also working on animation checks for other episodes. It might be challenging, but I'll do my best.

6月の寮生日記を投稿します。
先日初めてのラッシュチェックに参加しました。監督だけでなく仕上さんや撮影さんなど、普段関わることのない方々がいて少し緊張しました。
ラッシュではいろんなセクションの方がリテイクを出し合うのですが、知らないことも多く勉強になりました。視野が広がった気がします。
ラッシュでは1カットずつ映像を見て、気になったところで各々が発言をするといった感じで進みます。私は人前で意見をするのがあまり得意ではないため出来るか不安でしたが、なんとか言葉で伝えることが出来たと思います。ただ反省点も多くあったので、次の話数の時には気を付けたいです。
これからラッシュで出たリテイクのチェック対応と別話数の動検を並行してやることになります。大変かと思いますが頑張りたいです。
