August Dormitory Diary Entry - Watanabe

Here’s my dormitory diary entry for August.

Recently, the heat’s been waking me up in the morning. The closer it gets to noon the hotter it becomes, so I try and get to the studio as fast as possible. The studio is air conditioned which has been a live saver. My electricity bill’s gone up, so I’m really trying to cut back on the AC though…that is, as much as I can without getting heatstroke.

I’ve seen a lot of people walking around with a kind of fan(?) strapped around their necks this Summer. They come in all different shapes and sizes and they’re pretty cute. Seeing them almost makes me feel like I’m living in the future.

I’ve pretty much settled into my job. My drawing speed’s gotten faster since I started, or, I think it has at least… I’m studying keyframes even outside of work. There’s so much to learn yet only 24 hours in a day.

Here’s hoping for a productive August!

8月の寮生日記を投稿します。

最近朝は暑さで目覚めます。お昼に近づくにつれどんどん暑くなってしまうので、なるべく早めに会社に行くようにしています。会社はクーラーが効いているので最高です。電気代が値上がりしたので、節約しながら、熱中症にならないように…というのを心がけています。

今年の夏は首に扇風機？を掛けてる人をよく見かけます。いろんな形や色があって可愛いですね。近未来な感じがいいです。

仕事はだいぶ慣れてきました。最初の頃より描くスピードも上がっているような気がするような、気がするような…。仕事の他にも原画の勉強もしています。学ぶことが多すぎて時間が足りません。

今月も頑張ります！
