July Dormitory Diary Entry - Yamaguchi

This is Yamaguchi.
We always have the AC on in the studio, but it’s still hot enough to make my hands sweat as the day goes on.
I’m worry that it’ll leak into the page and ruin any good work I’ve managed to get done.
That said, I’ve always preferred the heat to the cold so I feel more energetic in the Summer.
I feel like I’ve been able to draw much more efficiently because of this,
or maybe it's just placebo.
My fellow co-workers and dormitory residents have been making constants strides in their work, and I’ve started to feel a bit behind lately.
I suppose I shouldn’t pay attention to that though and just grow at my own pace.

お世話になっております。
山口です。
作業場は毎日クーラーを効かせていますが、じわじわと手汗が滲んでくるほどの暑さです。
せっかく綺麗に線が引けても紙が一部しなしなになってしまうのが悩みです。
でも寒いよりは暑い方が元気が出るので夏は調子が良いです。
いつも以上に手が動く気がします。
いや、気がしてるだけかもしれません。
最近、同期の子達も他の寮生の方々もどんどんお仕事を進めていて焦りを感じています。
周りに流されず自分のペースで上達していきたいです。
