July Dormitory Diary Entry - Nakamura

I finally started using my air conditioner at the end of June as temperatures have been rising.
Tokyo Summers are hot.
At the studio, I’m still working on basic in-betweens as usual.
My drawings aren’t quite as clean as those of my peers, but I’m hoping to get better soon.
Ever since I’ve started in-betweening, I’ve become more attentive about making sure there’ll be no color leakage when my frames go in for coloring.
I used to draw what I wanted how I wanted, but now I have to be conscious for those who’ll work from my drawings later.
I also feel like I’ve gotten more precise with my sketches.
Drawing beautifully requires an exquisite understanding of line pressure and one’s own habits, and it seems that’ll need to spend some time finding what that looks like for me.
I will remain steadfast in my journey!

お疲れ様です、7月の日記です。
最近は暑くなってきて、6月の下旬からいよいよエアコンを使うようになりました。
東京の夏は暑いです。
会社では変わらず中割課題を頑張っています。
周りより線が汚く苦戦する日々ですが、早く上手くなれるようにしたいです。
動画をやるようになってから、自分で描く際も着色する際色漏れしないか気にするようになりまさした。
前まで好きに描き殴っていた私ですが、後の工程を意識するようになりました。
落書きの精度も上がった気がします。
線を綺麗に引くのはその人の力加減や手癖の使い方など絶妙な技術が必要で、自分の描き方を見出すには暫く模索する必要がありそうです。
これからも精進していきます！
