This is my dormitory diary entry for June.

I’ve been studying the ins and outs of in-between animation in training. Something we did that stuck with me recently was animating fluid motion. That’s stuff like making someone’s hair flow naturally and it was really hard. Though it was super fun to study references and experiment with how to make things look right!

Also, I went to a company sketching party. I usually draw from photos, so it was nice to draw while looking at an actual model again. It’s also nice to see my senior’s drawings. They're really good…

Back to work!

6月の寮生日記を投稿します。

研修ではいろいろな中割りを勉強しています。最近やった中で印象に残っているのはなびきの中割りです。髪の毛が自然に揺れているようにするのが大変でした。でも資料を見ながらああでもないこうでもない…というふうに模索するのはすごく面白いです！

また、会社のクロッキー会に参加したりもしました。普段は写真を見て描くことが多いので、実際にモデルを見ながら描くのは楽しいなぁと改めて感じました。先輩の上手い絵を見れるのも良い…。

引き続き頑張ります！
