June Dormitory Diary Entry - Kim

This is my dormitory diary entry for June.
I can feel Summer rolling in fast as the temperature rises.
We have an air conditioner at the studio that they keep on which I’m thankful for, but sometimes it gets too cold in there so I bring a long sleeve with me to use at work.
I’ve been doing a lot of pen-and-paper animation recently and I don’t think it’s going too well.
Hands are often used as a way to show a character's emotions and I’ve practiced them for a long time, but I still don’t have the hang of them.
It’s been a really good learning experience though to draw hands for work and study the corrections that I get from my animation inspector.
I’ve even started practicing at home in hopes of drawing better hands.

6月の寮生日記を投稿いたします。
最近いきなり気温が高くなって一気に夏が近づいたなと感じます。
暑くても会社ではちゃんとクーラーをつけてくれますので良かったと思いますが、時々寒さを感じる時もありますので家から長袖服を持って会社で使っています。
最近仕事では手の作画をよく担当されてますが上手く描けていないと思います。
手は人の感情表現によく使われるもので昔から練習してますが、なかなか上手くならなかったです。
仕事で手の作画を描いた後、動画検査さんの修正をいただいてまた描き直すことはとても勉強になっています。
もっと練習してキレイな手を描きたいので家でも練習しています。
6月も頑張ります！
