Infinite Stars is turning two years old next week.
I've learned so much during this time, and I'm happy with how this little Covid-19 Lockdown project has grown. I've met so many amazing people (I mean, it led me to meet all of you! <3)
Looking back, there are things I would have done differently. Things that I wish had worked out differently. There are disappointments and regrets. Missed opportunities. Loss, grief and frustrations. But that is the nature of life.
Instead of focusing on what could have been, I'm looking toward the future of Infinite Stars. When I started this journey, I made it clear that Infinite Stars is a passion project. It's something that I will continue working on regardless of financial success. This hasn't changed. I still wake up excited in the morning, ready to scribble down that idea that kept me up for half of the night.
I want to cement the future of Infinite Stars, giving it a solid foundation to continue growing. That means changes. (All of them positive and for the better of the project!) - And I'll be looking to all of you for guidance on achieving this.
There will be a few announcements and polls in the coming weeks. Some of them are minor. Some of them will be obvious if you've been paying attention. Others will quite literally determine the game's essence and the project's future. I realise this post doesn't say much, and I apologise. I just wanted to make sure I had your attention for what is still coming. Stick around, say your say, and help shape the future of Infinite Stars.
In the meantime, I'm still working tirelessly on the next release.
Commander Dobby Dobson sends his love and his regards.
