Really liked your reaction, it's interesting you called the show familiar. David Lynch wanted to create a sort of homage mixed with parody of those old soap operas. So some of those comedic moments, you're definitely supposed to find goofy and funny even though they're playing it straight. I'd like to see you continue it as the intriguing and mysterious parts become even better, at least for myself
