I think I'm going to rework the chapter a little , tie in Izela's plans a bit better, showcase how exactly they got a meeting so quick, and why she expected to get away with it, your comments made me think about needing to be more clear on the motivations for both Izela and Ziro

Hutts have plenty of low level staff I very much doubt they spend many resources every time one of their people get shanked in a Nar Shaddaa back alley, it's all about credits and reputation. He'll get more credits and reputation from what he's getting from her then killing her for a minor functionary, killing her which by the way would cost him much more expensive mercenaries to pull off, if Hutts shot themselves in the foot for every insult they wouldn't be in the position they are.

As for the owner he was owned by the Hutts outright, even with the torture it took 2 hours from him to give in, he wasn't going to give in for a nice song and some cash.

As for the Hutts, that why she went specifically for Ziro, because he's more likely to just let her do this rake in the profits without him having to lift a finger, and he gets to get one over the other Hutts as well, who will also profit so less likely to interfere, at least until is all built up when it would be easier to muscle in instead of doing it themselves. Hutts are generally lazy.

R2 and chopper can hack into the systems of almost every imperial base/ship they come across and they’re just standard astromech droids, not even some elite specialty units.

Nobody in the underworld will just accept someone doing what she did laying down. It's a respect thing. And she pissed all over the hutt's name by attacking their spot and torturing their man and killing their goons. IDC how profitable her ideas are they could just kill her and use her ideas themselves. Me personally I very much don't like her because of the needless torture of the race owner. If you'd made him a scumbag and not a man who built up his own dream. I'd not care as much even if I detest torture. But you sold the writing too well and I can't stand the bitch now lol
