week 2 study

so was a study of today, basicly i bough a new set of brush on csp and wanted to try stuff with colour, had the help of a friend to explain me a few technique to get a result, and gimme some advice

It's really really rough, but was supposed to be just a try out. Anyway i worked also on other studies, but one was actually cool and might finish and clean it later on =)

EDIT : another exercise i forced myself on, was to summarize some colour theory and practice self critic.
Here is my tough on it so far : So, concept was, Imp Mage and Punk

I.. think the concept loosed a bit, we don't really see she's a mage, and if the Punk is here, she look more like a demon than an Imp?

I think the colour palette work, but, it always been my Weakest point.

Might send this ti a friend, way more versed in char design, get his opinion and rework it from here
Anyway gonna rework it, There's already stuff i think i could move from, i like the Big coat and the Somber teal oj her shoulder, but telling myself could be a natural mark, like on her body. Keep the coat and whole Vibe and maybe do something with the smoking, maybe a mage that invoc ghost with her cigarette smoke. Sort of chaman

EDIT3 : Reworked the Blue camaieu paint, So, learned a few tricks! A postiriori, i tried too hard too quickly in my opinion, like, i don't master yet the paint and i went all in with complex palette of colour. Wasn't easy even if i learned stuff and was the base purpose

I'll keep doing paint exercise, but with more "classic" stuff first, like retaking photo or copying some iconic pose to learn paint tool more
