So, this isn't specifically mentioned, and I don't recall it being pointed out in the livestream either, but from what I understand, the Matron of Ravens' realm is called Shadowfell, which is sort of like the antithesis of the Fey Realm. The Shadowfell and Fey Realm are antagonistic toward one another, so your analogy about white blood cells isn't too far off, I don't think. Basically, the realm really hates that vestige. lol
