Brainstorming new ideas

Heya guys,

For the next couple of days I've been brainstorming ideas to kind of rework my patreon to be more.. inclusive I guess? But more "fun" for me while also including your guys.

So far I've decided to keep a lot of things similar while adding on some new things. I typed it all out in this screenshot.

The monthly membership for the flat color applies to each month you're subscribed

I was wondering what you guys think of this? Do you think it's fair? I still want to do commissions for you guys but I'm also trying to ease the load due to my busy work life outside of the internet.

I would move highres art to the $6 tier rather than the lowest one personally, but that's more of a me thing than anything! I'd keep the alts at the $3 tier though since I think they work well there~ Commission slot priority is always nice! Although I would wonder if allowing the lower tier patrons access to the priority as well would be better while the higher tier gets the discounts in addition to it to help incentivize people to test the waters of your patron and then later upgrade if they find themselves commissioning you a lot and want a discount + to support you more. Tier 3 may be hard to keep up with in my opinion, esp with the price you have there []on top of metioning a busy schedual]. $10 for a flat-colored image a month may bog you down and be hard to keep up with. Also, keep in mind the fee Patreon AND paypal take from that cut before giving it to you, making that price even less. Not only that, but you're also doing a PWYW sketch in addition for that price. That's two custom images a month for a min of $10 [before fees]. That and any tier with a more custom reward tends to be hard to maintain and keep up with since many are underprepared for the amount of work they will require in addition to the low buy-in fee. Back when I did freebie sketches/lined pieces for my $10 tier I was able to keep up for the first year or so. But, after a while of doing them and taking on more commission work, I found myself unable to do them at a reasonable pace and I was struggling to finish them between coms, esp since I would spend a good 3-5 hours on each for only $10 [and I was doing 10 a month so the amount of work I was essentially doing for free and the time it was taking me away from coms began hitting me hard]. And transitioning away from those sketches was pretty difficult since many were so accustomed to it by that point so the switch hit me for a while as well. Just something to keep in mind if you're wanting to go with that! A higher entry fee on top of a smaller patron limit could help a lot more to keep it stable and easier to manage. You can always up the limit at any time if you feel you can take on more but you cannot lower it if people are in it. If you find raising the price to be a bit high to better match your commission prices, you can make it bi-monthly to ease the que length it would create as well as make it easier for patrons to pay monthly. For example, [at the time] my flat-colored pieces were $200 for one character. I have a $100 tier right now for that, but my patron gets it every other month rather than monthly. So that totals to $200 for it, but they didn't have to pay $200 right away. Just a small downpayment and then the rest next month while also enjoying other perks they got from my Patreon. And since I only have to do it every other month, it's easier to fit it into my schedule that way. Sorry this got ubber big but I hope it helps somewhat @-@

It looks good to me!
