Some upcoming UI improvements
Added 2024-05-21 03:19:30 +0000 UTCHey everyone,
we're busy working on a whole bunch of HUGE UI and workflow improvements to filterblade for the upcoming league.
There are still far from finished and are still getting improvements, but I wanted to give you guys a sneakpeak!
CUSTOMIZER COMPACT VIEW:
The customizer will now use a much improved UI. Everything can be enabled and disabled with the checkboxes on the left with one click. Of course you can expand the rules to get the familiar UI (there's also an option to always use the old view only).
It's great to quickly adjust things, navigate the customizer faster and the high level overview is awesome. No functionality has been lost!
CLEANED UP OVERVIEW SCREEN:
Way less text, way less clutter.
No functionality is lost, but the UI is just a lot more straightforward. Strictness descriptions are visible if you hover over the strictness slider by the way! Oh and we've renamed presets into modules.

STREMLINED THE LOOTSIMULATOR:
The new loot simulator UI is just a LOT cleaner.
Same as before, no function is lost! All settings can be accessed the config button. In fact there are quite a few new functions!
However, the new UI is just much easier to use!

There's a lot more that we're working on and I'm excited to show off the other improvements over the next weeks!
Thanks for reading and I'd love to hear what you think of the new UIs!
Best Regards,

Nice! If they are separate tabs with their own clear zone level setting, that is probably clearer too. I was always getting confused with one screen that had two zone level configs in it :)

One suggestion if it's not already fixed by this change: every league I run into issues because the simulator has a zone area which I change, but directly below it the field to paste items also has its own, and then the simulator and pasted item "disagree" with each other and it takes me a while to figure it out every time. It would be great if this whole section just had *one* zone level field so I didn't have to keep multiple fields in sync when trying to debug why something is or isn't showing up, as I use both areas a lot.
