We call these "sortable lists" internally. As part of the large reworks and improvements, these are getting a major overhaul for POE 3.10 and the filter is getting some related improvements as well! Here's a list of some of the most prominent features:

All sortable lists now come with an "x" button next to items. Every deleted item is moved into a dedicated "hidden" tier. You can also restore items back into their regular tiers from it
All items are listed. There's no more "remaining" entries (exception being influenced bases tiers, because they're way too large). So you can search for every single item and have much more insight into the tiering.
All divination cards show their rewards, stack size. The price is also visible when hovering over the item (works for HC/SC).
The auto-sorting function received some improvements and is easier to use now!
If an item is untiered it means it's new and/or your filter needs updating! This system provides failsaves for all tiers
There's also a bunch of different improvements, such as tooltips, UI scaling etc.

All of these features and more are coming for 3.10
