3.6 Filter TODOS
Added 2019-03-07 06:48:53 +0000 UTCThis is an incomplete list of todos for the upcoming filter update. Somehave already been taken care of, some are still WIP and some need more reviewing. The update will be live 4-8 hours before launch and will also include a FIlterBlade update! Im on the train right now and my battery is running low, so I apologize for the poor formatting and grammar mistakes :).
- Fractured Item General Highlight - Fractured items need a certain highlight. The highlight strategy can be similar to other special items. There's extra potential in highlighting fractured items with certain qualities such as rares bases, unique fractured items (?) and explicit mod filtering. The default special property highlight color (teal) can be used for these, but it's worth considering giving them a different look. That being said, their special icon makes them easy to distinguish
- Synthesized Item General Highlight - While I have no reason to think - that these items can drop. Then again, they can drop at some point and there's no harm in giving them the same treatment fractured items get.
- Highlight any enchanted item - for now just a regular "special purpose" base highlight. Inform the user of the enchant (<=Rare).
- Reshuffle Priority - Identified rare mod filtering needs to be heavies weighted than other highlight strategies (exception: Incursion mods).
- Rares: more value towards casters - The league will very likely have a high caster focus and more ES builds than the last leagues. This will give certain items (es shields, sceptres, even rare es body amours) more value and opportunity. The filter needs to reflect this without abandoning other build options
- Analyze unique nerfs - certain items will lose their standing due to the large amount of unique changes. Things like poets pen (and the related divinaiton card) will become significantly cheaper.
- Analyze new uniques - Likely no work required, but detailed analysis wont hurt
- Analyze new divination cards - 15 divination cards need to get integrated into the economy
- Change the order of operations for explicit filtering - Rare filtering needs to have priority over magic filtering.
- Remove flat chaos explicit - this explicit is not too rare and caused random maces and daggers to get highlighted
- Review new Map levels - unique maps might need readjustments
- Review chancing bases - poet's pen nerfs etc will cause a different chancing set
- Calibrate endgame crafting bases - these need to become much more strict and T0 focused. Synthesized items are the last nail in the coffin of normal non-shaper/elder crafting bases.
- General strictness review. Power creep going up means, higher strictneses have to show less again.
