This javelina guy was both a self-indulgent and cathartic character for me to cook.
When I was younger (Teen till young adult), I had pretty intense gender dysphoria, and part of me really wishes I had room to have expressed that with Gabe's character, and sometimes I wonder where Id be now if I was allowed to be who i wanted to be.
Part of me really wants to write a story about this Javelina (his name is Augustine!) where I can channel my past (and somewhat current?) frustrations with gender. One day!

Your javelina character is pretty hot. And Gabe is once again a very brave little possum to go in bare like that. 🥴 Also that's really unfortunate about the dysphoria. That must've really sucked to go through, particularly at such a vulnerable time in your life where self discovery is important. It sucks having to deny yourself a chance of self exploration.
