I like how you scrutinised and analyzed the relationship between Killua and Gon. Killua has been in touch with his dark nature ever since he was born, and his encounter with Gon is literally his first glimpse into the light. That's why I think he's being overprotective of Gon and wants to prevent him from getting hurt by the harsh realities of life. By doing so, he can prevent his own ideals from being "tainted" (not wanting to see Gon lose his childlike innocence and positivity, which are traits that Killua lacks and is seemingly envious of), not sure if you catch my drift haha. Also I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like Bisky is similar to Hisoka in the sense that they both love to see talent flourish, except the latter takes it too far into the deep end 🤣 Still love him though hahah

I am disappointed that you still have quite a ways to go until you meet best girl (her screentime or lack thereof is criminal), BUT excited to watch you experience it all! Greed Island is personally my favorite arc; what can I say, I love virtual video game magic power shit (Yu-Gi-Oh, Solo Leveling, etc. Even the old Mega Man anime, lol).

I think basically the rule being established now is like: if you can get past Killua with either speed or you can deceive him, he’s like “aight teach me ple” hahaha And thanks man! Yeah it’s very gradual. So gradual I feel that we don’t really pick up on it as there aren’t as many like “defining moments” so far. Like say compared to a character like Luffy who is good natured, quite carefree and more, he also I think developed slowly and gradually bit by bit, but once Sabaody happened and then Ace died, this man was broken down and reborn. I’m reaaaaaally curious to see what would happen to Gon if he faced something like that too 😔 Not that I want to see our mans in pain

Also, good observation on Gon's character! Something I've noticed about this anime is the character development is gradual, but when it happens, it will hit. And yes to HxH being bright on the surface but it's actually dark. Sometimes, it will take you by surprise on how dark it can get.
