That's awesome to hear you're still really happy with the adaptation man, because a lot of what I've seen is people saying things along similar lines! That's awesome to hear. Also I've actually had Eight-Six on my radar for quite some time, so it's awesome to know that A-1 is behind that too! I think I've been told that a few times and forgotten every time haha

One thing to note about the animation that I had mentioned towards the end of season 1 is that the director/animators said they want to level up the animation as Jin Woo levels up. I mean, we can already see how it evolved throughout the first season and even comparing the finale to this first episode it is an upgrade imo. So Im definitely looking forward to seeing how they continue with that ideal. One thing that gives me hope especially after this first episode is after the first season, I saw another show that A-1 did called “Eighty-six” that came out in 2021 (I highly recommend anyone to check it out). I dont know who exactly worked on that who also works on solo leveling but picking A-1 to animate it was the best choice. Especially with how the staff said during a recent interview that they want to stick with the source material as close as possible. That in itself is a huge win for the manhwa readers. As a manhwa reader, solo leveling was the first of its type that I read (manhwa, manga, manhua). The art style and colors they choose to use is what drew me into wanting to continue reading it. And so far imo, it’s been translating well into the anime.

I'm looking forward to see what they've been cooking because judging by the intro, it's going to be fiiiire. And leaving the lower ranked members of your group to die is FUCKED. Those should've been the first people he should've been worried about, not abandoning them. Bit him in the ass, I guess, lmao. Like, I get focusing on increasing your odds of survival, but that's still messed up, man.
