Circus Grounds - (BARbarian Tier)
Added 2023-11-09 10:01:01 +0000 UTCThe Circus has the following locations:
- Ticket Booth - A weathered, colourful ticket booth stands at the entrance, adorned with faded posters of past circus acts. A cheery, worn-out sign above it reads "Hagswell Circus: The Greatest Show in Town!" A friendly carnival tune drifts from within, inviting patrons to purchase their tickets and step into a world of wonder.
- Kitchen - The circus kitchen bustles with activity, filled with the delicious aroma of freshly baked goods and sizzling treats. Cookware clatters as the kitchen staff prepare meals for the hungry patrons.
- Toilet - The circus toilets are basic but clean, with a row of simple stalls separated by weathered wooden partitions. Flickering torches provide dim, warm light, casting a cozy ambiance in the otherwise functional space. The faint scent of sawdust mingles with a floral air freshener, creating a unique circus atmosphere.
- Gaming Grounds - The circus gaming grounds feature fun activities like card games, archery, and pumpkin carving all under the open sky. Laughing children and adults enjoy competing in a festive atmosphere with the smell of freshly popped popcorn wafting through the air.
- Visitor Seating - The bustling visitor area teems with lively chatter and laughter as patrons enjoy mouthwatering circus treats and browse an assortment of colourful merchandise stalls. Music and joyous conversations create an inviting and festive ambiance.
- Smithy - The circus smithy stands as a small, metal-clad haven amidst the lively festivities, where skilled artisans craft and repair the circus's equipment and props. The rhythmic clinking of hammers harmonizes with the cheerful circus melodies in the background, creating a unique soundscape.
- Tarot Reader -The Tarot Reader's tent is draped in rich, dark fabrics and adorned with mysterious symbols. As soft, haunting melodies drift from inside, visitors are drawn to the enigmatic cards and ethereal atmosphere, captivated by the clairvoyant's hauntingly accurate insights. The Tarot Reader's presence adds a touch of mystique and intrigue to the circus, enchanting those who seek guidance from the unseen world.
- Tents and Animals - The performers' tents stand in colourful rows, vibrant symbols of the circus spirit. Adjacent to them, a large animal cage and a stable are one home to creatures from far-off lands. Together, these tents and cages create an intriguing contrast.
- Big Top - The grand Big Top tent stands proudly at the heart of the circus, its vibrant canvas adorned with swirling patterns and bright colours. Underneath its billowing roof, a circular performance area awaits. The scent of sawdust and anticipation fills the air as visitors gather under the big tent, ready for an unforgettable show.
- Abandoned Well - The abandoned well, located on the outskirts of the circus camp, is a weathered stone structure with rotten boards barely covering the opening. The surrounding area is overgrown with weeds and thick vines, and the well itself emanates an eerie aura, seeming like a relic of the past.
- Ringmaster Tent - The ringmaster's tent stands north of the Big Top. It is a large, open space where the ringmaster, Helena Hagswell, prepares for shows and meets with performers.
- Makeup Room - The makeup room is a hub of creativity . The air is filled with the scent of sweat and face paint.
- Changing Room - The spacious changing room features a row of locker-style changing areas, where performers store their costumes and belongings. A set of spartan bathing and grooming facilities, complete with tubs and showers, adds a touch of comfort to the camping lifestyle. The warm water and echoing sound off the mosaic tiles provide a serene retreat for the circus performers before and after their acts.
