► LORDS OF CALDEN BACKGROUND
A few days march from the western edges of the realm lies a great Fastness, Calden.
The folk who lived there long dead and forgotten. For generations, all that was known to remain were slowly crumbling gravestones and a lingering atmosphere of bitterness and rage that discouraged settlement by those who were not deterred by the western forest's other myriad threats.
This ruined place had once been a valorous feudal court of knights and lords. Although, as is the wont of the dark that resides in all men's hearts, what began as chivalric virtue was warped into an arrogant, isolationist pridefulness.
As their sense of superiority grew, so too did their levies and brutalities. The peasant folk of the region rose up in revolt and struck down their once-protectors. Their remains and the burial sites of their ancestors were desecrated, ensuring that the fallen warriors would never enjoy the peace of the grave.
Rumors of great, armored monstrosities have arisen in recent times. Something has begun to stir in this lost Kingdom and woe betide any who stand in its way.
► Few words about the release
As you have seen from the preview this release will be the rework of the - Rotten Knights.
It will arrive in two parts one in January and one in the closest future.
It will have all of the figures from initial set so in the end when we finish with it you should have an epic set of monster knights all with lore, data slates and 2 adventures to play!
Existing figures that will be included in the set will be rescaled, optimized for smaller amount of pieces and resupported. Bases also will be adjusted to meet gaming standards.
We will have mounted version of the knights as well!

2021-12-29 17:21:21 +0000 UTCI hope there'll be some fat knights as well. A Bestiarum Smough or Siegmeyer Catarina would be ace. There are so few fatty knights around to give some contrast to the buff or spikey dudes. Edit: Basically the Mistress model but with heavy armour. And I just know that if I buy her there'll be something more fitting later on :O Edit 2: Ok, the 70% discount still works, I'll buy her to convert, anyway.

2021-12-21 18:33:57 +0000 UTCGreat job! I plan on using these as "engineered" undead in D&D. Where a necromancer is specifically (re)assembling designed cadavers to turn into more effective warriors. The animalistic legs are perfect for making these stand out and showing off how they've been engineered.

2021-12-21 11:52:53 +0000 UTCYou know, I've been doing a Nurgle knight army (Order of the Fly) and I've meshmixed quite a few knights recently to go with my traditionally converted ones. Those beakie-dudes and crossbow men alone are like turning on cheat codes for such a purpose :O
