As for the blood transfusion there is a simple test that we can do. A test subject is to donate some blood and then immediately get it back. If their PFAS levels drop, it stays in the equipment and receiving patients are safe. But if there's no significant difference in PFAS levels then it leaves with the blood. Of course it is possible that both are true so you need to measure exactly so that you know if the drop is the same when you get the blood back as when someone else gets it.

I don't like how the conversation about ethinic minorities ended. It seems to imply that being an underrepresented group causes elevated PFAS levels. I don't argue with the data, but correlation does not imply causation. We should try to isolate the actual variable that causes this. It will probably also correlate with ethnicity, like poverty.
