We have done everything within our power to make it clear that our Patreon is closed and we are moving to another platform, up to and including turning off free memberships, which is what you have. Yet Patreon continues to allow people to access those, and to pledge an amount in spite of the fact that you are unable to select a paid tier. Our apologies for the confusion, but there's literally nothing more we can do. This is one of the many reasons we are leaving Patreon. We will refund the amount you sent. You can actually join at https://oldgodsofappalachia.com/theholler. (Please note, however, that the $5 tier only includes ad-free access to the regular season. To access exclusive stories, you will need to pledge at the $10/month level.)

It says I'm a member on the page but then asks me to pay to upgrade my membership, and when I do it kicks me back to the home page. Has anyone else been having similar issues or know what I'm doing wrong? I'm not all that teck savy.

This is the only message we have received from you, so I’m not sure where you tried to reach out. Patreon charged you that amount on October 25 because you changed your membership settings last year on October 25. WE can’t do that. Patreon doesn’t give creators the ability to change your pledge or make any other changes to your account. Please reach out to them if you need verification of that fact. That said, however the error occurred, we have refunded you. - Cam

I didn’t authorize any cost except $5/ month and I’ve canceled that. Access for a year to the extra benefits is something I cannot afford and did not order at anytime. But as you probably know, TeePublic is currently our official merch shop, and that's not a situation where we can send them merch to sell on our behalf. They're print-on-demand. So it's a possibility.
