[News] More Progress + Public Demo!

The February Steamfest is almost here, and we plan to release a public demo by the 13th or 14th. This demo won’t include the recent progress on the prologue level; instead, it will focus on improvements to the two dungeons we’ve already released (including some of their cutscenes) and the upgraded UI for the Toysystem.
We will also release a follow-up update a few days later to improve controller compatibility.
For the patron demo, we still plan to release another build by the end of the month. This version will feature the prologue level in a more playable state, with significant improvements across all its cutscenes. However, since the NPC open-world composition and loading systems aren’t finished yet, the prologue will remain in a ‘debug level’ state for now.
Meanwhile, as we apply these final touches, our level designer is working on the village of Tupelo. This is where Kalyskah will perform a ritual, a major milestone before the prologue reaches the point where pirate factions begin to cause her trouble. We’re advancing development on multiple fronts so that, once the NPC manager is complete, we can fully reallocate our resources toward wrapping up the prologue story at full speed.
Finally, based on the poll we ran a while ago, I should stop calling it "The Prologue" and start referring to it as Chapter 1. Since once its main story is complete, we’ll continue expanding it with side stories while the level designers finish building the land of Thulgatha. This will give you plenty of time to get familiar with Kalyskah’s world when she was at the height of her power before her slumber.
