Hello everyone!
We’re thrilled to share the first demo of our game here on Steam!
The road so far has been filled with challenges. The idea of creating a game like Kalyskah has been in our hearts for a long time and what you see now is just a small glimpse of what we envision for the future.

There’s much more to come, including an open world to explore and a variety of immersive systems that will let you experience life as a creature of the night, hiding your true nature from human society.
This demo offers a brief look at Kalyskah’s journey, covering some of the events between the opening and the first arc of the story. It should provide around 30 minutes of gameplay, followed by a short group of dialogues with some of the characters you'll encounter in the full game.

Early next week, we plan to release another dungeon, featuring more platforming for you to explore.

Since switching from Unreal 4 to Unreal 5, we’ve had to patch many systems and haven’t yet had the time to rework most of them. So, everything you see here is still subject to improvement, especially the combat and animations!

Fixes
Tweaked Brooke's end cutscene.
Fixed save slot menu display when the player presses ESC.
Fixed Merishya not properly following Kalyskah after cutscenes and toy system interactions.
Fixed Alvina in the arena to be the undead version.
Fixed Gallery scene not working properly.
Corrected the name of the "Meeting Heather" quest, which was incorrectly titled "Meeting Catherine."
Fixed appearance settings starting in a collapsed state.
Fixed undead NPCs not using the right standing idle, such as Undeas being quirky and Jessie not smoking her pipe.
Increased blend time on troll damage animations for smoother transitions.
Enhancements
General lighting, character shader, and effects tests for quality assurance.
Alvina's spiders will out out of frame during the cutscene so you can understand that they don't want to attack Kalyskah after what happens.
Asset cleanup in Lordenfel and quick adjustments to some levels. (Work done for unreleased level)
Added Astrid as a new character for the gallery.
Added ambient dialogues for Catherine where she reads aloud from her book.
Set NPC quests to end in the Garden of Delights to avoid player confusion.
Changed NPC behaviour to walk instead of running in the Garden of Delights.
Added Maynard’s quest when you interact with him.
Implemented new ambient dialogue for Catherine when Kalyskah approaches her.
Difference between Steam and Patreon version:
The version released on Steam is a preview of the game without the Erotic Content Free DLC, meaning the sexual content is toned down. However, the version we will release on Itch after the Screamfest will be the uncut version. Once we reach Early Access, the erotic content on Steam will be available as a separate download through the DLC.

If you are a VAMPIRE, ROYAL BLOOD or NIGHTSTALKERS patron, follow these instructions:
Itch: Link your account HERE, and download the game HERE. If you have Itch's launcher, the game will auto-update itself.
If you have any issues linking your account to itch, feel free to message us to we can send you a mirror to download the patch. But I would recommend downloading it through itch because we are already gathering a list of improvements and there will be a new patch next week to fix some issues that were left and also to add new content.
