We'll be releasing a public demo this week. Until then, our patrons have access to... let's say... 99% of what will be included in the next update in terms of the content of the Fallen Temple. There are a few fixes we'll need to make here and there, especially with the animations. But in general, aside from adding the intro cutscene and another scene with Michael that is currently missing, the core of the dungeon content is mostly complete. We won't be making further changes or finishing the remaining cutscenes until the next dungeon and the prologue are ready.
In the future, Brooke's boss fight will be reworked to include her ability to shape-shift into animals such as a bear and a wolf. However, this will only be done once we finish programming the same system for Kalyskah herself, so probably only after Thulgatha is back.
I hope you enjoy what we have so far!
P.S. Some of the quirks you'll notice in the animations will be resolved once we are fully finished with refactoring our old animation system.

Fixes
Fixed saving/loading dialogues not working.
Fixed unsafe thread callings and nodes in the new animation blueprint.

Fixed idle pose switching for male and female characters, so when you see them in the world, they will be properly animated.

Enhancements
Refactored NPCs to use a new animation blueprint, completely removing ALS.
Enhanced NPC equipment component and applied it to gallery characters. These gallery characters are now what we use for some cutscenes instead of the actual characters in the level.
Tweaked lighting in the Garden of Delights and the starting dungeon for better visibility.
Optimized LODs for prologue and Thulgata landscapes (Work done at unreleased level).
Added initial fog systems, including volumetric fog shaders, in DG_Ruin_01 (Work done at unreleased level).
Added kill volumes to prevent players from falling through the map (Work done at unreleased level).
Adjusted level design in the Paradise of Delights.
Enhanced Kalyskah's biting animation when interacting with rats.
Added dust effects during cutscenes where vampires die.
Tweaked toy system functionality, including adjustments to poses and tags.
Added Nemesis voice lines and emotes in the Paradise of Delights.
Made the name of the kinks a bit more classy in the main menu.
Ilreth's forehead won't be as big as it was before in her hairstyle.
Kalyskah will go to a private room with Ilreth and Nemesis when a sex scene triggers.
Features
Added voice lines and animations for Ilreth’s dialogue, along with emotes.
Added some dialogue lines when Kalyskah enters the sewers.
Implemented the final steps of Ilreth’s dialogue and integrated her into the Garden of Delights.
Added Alvina’s glasses as a collectable after her cutscene.
Added Garden dancers (both male and female) with triggers linked to Nemesis' quest.
Set up Brooke's voice for combat and interactions.
Updated Brooke and Alvina’s cutscenes with improved animations and dialogue.
Added controller support to Skilltree, along with every other menu we could find. Please let us know if you find anywhere that the controller doesn't work so we can continue to make the game 100% compatible with controllers.
Created a new enemy, the goblin (Work done at unreleased level).
Known Issues
Further testing is required to ensure subtitles are working as expected.
Undead are not displaying their custom poses on this patch, which will be solved during the week as it requires further tweaking of the new animation blueprint.
Alvina's cutscene is a bit clumsy, we'll improve it this week.

Itch: Link your account HERE, and download the game HERE. If you have Itch's launcher, the game will auto-update itself.
If you have any issues linking your account to itch, feel free to message us to we can send you a mirror to download the patch. But I would recommend downloading it through itch because we are already gathering a list of improvements and there will be a new patch next week to fix some issues that were left and also to add new content.

To get the key to the paradise of delights, you need to "summon nemesis" in the pentagram right next to the door. changes on the cutscenes will be a bit hard for us to do at the moment since we are on a deadline both with the steam demo and also because we want to move on to work in the open world. But as time goes we'll return to them and improve

2024-10-23 21:02:50 +0000 UTCThe damage of Darkness Shot scales with your Sorcery skill, and we did reduce the damage a little because the game is mostly focused in Meele Combat. Thanks for the other inputs, I'm testing and fixing what I can find

2024-10-23 21:00:24 +0000 UTCHello Kalyskah ;-) More observations: Some NPC's are still acting strange: after attack they retreat, seems they have forgotten the attack. After two or up to "a lot of" seconds they remember and come again. Others do not move until Kalyskah moves again. In general, it seems that the NPC's are less aggressive as well as less targeted. Darkness Shot has changed. It seems to be less effective now. A sword strike shows much more effect (damage). If I've observed correctly, Darkness Shot is locked for the next 16 to 18 sec. Only if this lock-time is over the next Darkness Shot is possible again. You can trigger Darkness Shot beforehand, but this Darkness Shot will have no effect. I think the lock-time and the caused effect must be adjusted. Do not forget: Kalyskah still must have a chance against two or more correct acting NPC's with ranged weapons. Killing Gremmnoch seemed to be easier. (My opinion: return to previous version) Sorry, but I must tell you: after killing Gremmnoch Kalyskah moved towards the "Dead End (invisible barrier)": Merishya fall through the floor. Strange: all persons in the "Garden of Delights" are either sitting, standing or running, no one is walking.

2024-10-21 19:17:53 +0000 UTCHello Kalyskah ;-) some comments: Both spiders in the sewer section did not show any reaction. (Do You have a name list of rooms/chambers/places ? It would simplify do descibe events.) After leaving "near the sacrifial Chamber" Kalyskah found two opponents hovering at the ceiling (they did not attack). When passing the door of the dungeon Kalyskah is automatically "teleported" to Merishya's cell. It should be as in the previous version: the dialogue Merishya/Kalyskah should not appear before Kalyskah has reached the cell. After entering Gremmnoch's chamber Merishya needed help. Kalyskah gave "Help" to Merishya. Immediately Merishya attacked and hit Kalyskah (not deadly). There are still problems with "friendly fire". Merishya is still "glitching" around. This can be any where, it does not depend on the location. It is too easy to enter the "Garden of Delights", it should be a little harder ;-) The activation distance of the NPC's should be reviewed. (Variable according to environment and game state ?) I did not find the key for "Paradise of Delights". Is this key not available or did I fail to find it ? Small error: List of "Main Quests": "Meeting Henryssson", "Meeting Catherine", "Meeting Jesse" and again "Meeting Catherine" <- this should be "Heather"
