[News] ETA for the next patch, Steam and more screenshots!

Hello everyone, Corintio here!

Today I'm happy to announce that we finished working on our Steam Page and that now it's being reviewed, so within the next 2 or 3 days it should be up!

With that said, we are still putting some final touches on what's needed for the next patch. The game should look completely different in terms of environment. I'm also trying to finish one cutscene for the beginning of a new storyline where Kalyskah can help Michael with research.

I can't guarantee that the cutscene will be done, considering that I'm splitting my attention between dealing with the store page and animating it, and as soon as Steam give us the green light, I'm stopping everything I'm doing to add a way for people to find the page from the main menu and wishlist us, and then pack to the latest version and release it for you all.

Among the changes in the landscape you can see above, the next patch will also count with a few fixes in item IDs and general improvements on the performance and shaders.

One of the huge changes you'll notice will be with the resolution of the terrain. We have uncompressed the ground textures to make them 4k when you are very close to it and reduce the resolution when you're far away. So this should improve the visuals without affecting much of the performance. 

We didn't program new features this month because there's yet another HUGE milestone just around the corner: Transitioning from Unreal 4 to Unreal 5. Our programmer managed to compile the project on the latest engine but we are still having issues with crashes in the editor. Until we manage to successfully build the game in Unreal 5, all we'll be adding will be visuals and quests, which is not a problem since that's exactly the type of content we need the most for now.

Ohh! I think with the prologue version of the game you might have noticed something: The benefits from her clothes aren't as high as the benefits from her blood buff (That gives as many attributes as she has in blood shards). So that means that even without gear, just by using the blood buff she can still be a very capable fighter! I can't wait to get back to work on that forest in the future, with a bigger budget we will be able to add new types of enemies that are part plant\part organic!

In your Legacy version I would like to let you know I think the forest area is really a fun place to explore and hunt in. I wish there was a way to make Kalyskah more powerful so I could enjoy it more while the game is being worked on. I also feel Kalyskah is a vampire and doesn't need to be dependent on clothing for armor strength, vigor, sorcery or any skill points. She is a Vampire and should be almost invincible even with the sexiest outfit or with nothing but her birthday suit! In the forest area you've got it developed really well. Let the patreons have some fun and make Kalyskah powerful enough to handle all the wolves, bears, ghosts, or whatever monsters, or bad guys be lurking there! There is plenty of more development that could be done right in that forest. These ideas would make the game more playable as it is right now for players who enjoy Kalyskah. It would also give you more time to work on your ideas for the game's growth and improvement!

It's looking fantastic already! And it'll look even better in unreal 5 I'm certain! Especially with nanite and lumen! And that new enviroment tool! I need to get into that more cuz it seems like it's gonna be MASSIVELY powerful
