[News] August, Elves and Wizards + What's next!

Hello everyone, Corintio here!
August was a busy month on the art side. Let me summarize things to you:
- We did the concept of a new character, Ilreth. The image below is not the final one, we'll let that reveal for later:


The gif above was some of our tests to see if we would want her to have a longer or softer face;
- We did a new armour and hairstyle, for the guest character that will be in our game: Catherine from Rise of the White Flower!


We will have her questline after the prologue is done, for now, we'll have her in the world (Tupelo, to be more precise) with some placeholder interactions. There's a reason in our story that makes people like her and Merishya sometimes get stuck in Thulgatha. And this reason is related to a series of events in the very fabric of reality and time, that you will find out more about as the story goes on.
And before I forget, here is how Kalyskah is coming along on their game!

There are a few things that will change but most of it is done!
- We have also opened a Casting Call to look for the voice of two characters: Rosália and Nemesis. Rosália will show up once we are back to the present times of Thulgatha, and Nemesis will show up during the prologue itself. The details of her appearance we want to keep as a surprise, all I can say is that she's a succubus!

We are not done yet!
- We are working on a new trailer to open our Steam page.
- We have started to work on the landing site of Meteor! Those who are familiar with the Legacy version might have heard or seen something related to The Great Fall, so we are planting the seeds to foreshadow it.
- We have worked on 3 new scripts for quests and there's more to come since our policy for this month is to work on small and simple events and interactions to populate the world.
- We have made some major advancements in bringing the game to Unreal Engine 5. The one thing that is left is for us to compile a plugin that is giving us a major Headache!
- We are working on a statue of Kalyskah, for those of you who like to collect physical things;
- We are working on a new creature... a tentacle creature! for the game;
- And finally: A friend of mine managed to fix the issues that were causing us to be unable to use the new rig on the game. So we plan to make the transition and finally add the Jiggle Physics to Kalyskah this month!
Short-term plans:
The next two or three months will be entirely focused on populating the island with quests and making the necessary polishments before we move on to the next branch of the prologue storyline. So to do so, we might start adding quests before they get dubbed. We also plan to introduce a new weapon style to the game, the Scythe, and add general polishment to the combat.
Medium-term plans:
A major milestone will be a ritual Kalyskah will perform in the town of Tupelo. Because after that ritual happens, a lot in her daily life will change, and to do so we must prepare the ground to make procedural pirate events!
What types of procedural events are we planning?
- Bandit raids;
- Kalyskah possibly getting captured;
- Kalyskah capturing bandits to feed her favourite pet, Gremnoch.
- And more that we prefer to leave as a surprise. All these will be worked on only after we set the groundwork for the Ritual Scene to happen, so we prefer to talk about them when we are close to start adding on them.
