[News] Our longest erotic scene + Light performance

Hello everyone, Corintio here!

Following our last post about what we are working on, you might be aware that we are working on the longest erotic scene our game ever had, and also doing some massive optimizations on the temple. So other than that, here are some updates on how things are going on the technical side

We are currently finishing up the implementation of the new skin shaders Romanelli cleaned up while adding a new way to bake NPC textures to reduce VRAM and RAM usage altogether as well as reducing shader instructions to free some performance on both the GPU and CPU.
We are also finishing the groundwork for the tattoo and scars systems, they'll require a lot of data to be handled and the UI for it in the NPC creator so it'll take some time still. So we don't have an ETA as to when it'll be done.
And also starting work on the foundations of the Schedule Manager and the handling of cities/villages/regions so NPCs not only feel more alive but also gain new tech that will permit us to add in new gameplay systems and foundations for future systems integration, like the NPC romancing, city life, reputation and the masquerade system.

And for the lights review, we moved and deleted so many lights that it will require us to go through some of our cutscenes and double-check if anything is broken. On the bright side, from the next update forward Kalysakh's temple will be looking far much better, with an improved mood underground.

This might mean that we'll need yet another week after the next one to release the patch. But don't worry in case you pledged this month, because if you claim your Vampire+ itch before the 30th, once the update happens you'll still have access to it.
