[Question] How's the newest demo running?

Hello Patrons!

We recently released the latest tech demo of the game. I was wondering about what you thought of the performance so far, even though is not 100% with all the tweaks we are about to make.

Also wanted to know your thoughts on completely replacing the Starting Dungeon with an open-world prologue that better portrays the RPG experience we aim to achieve (Even though right now the tech demo doesn't have any quests).

- Yes, our goal is exactly to add more content instead of replacing it. But basically, we are adding content *before* the content we already have. So it will just take a few months for you to see the story we already had before. Because the prologue comes before that. 2 - Correct, what you said is exactly what we are doing. Adding content before the starting dungeon, then having the starting dungeon and the open world in Thulgatha again. 3 - Yeah, we want to add more dungeons. After the main worlds (prologue and post prologue) are done that's what we'll focus. 4 - The plan for version 0.20 as a whole is to have it as a rebuild of the prologue at the end.... But I think you're right. Best to name it tech demo until the story is back. 5 - The flying power lasts for quite a while if you have 10 blood spheres and activate the blood buff. I don't want to have Kalyskah flying for too long with telekinesis because we don't want to make it feel like she's superman. the idea is that if she wants to float during a fight, she can, but if she wants to fly for longer periods she has to shapeshift. There might be more shape-shifting powers later when we have a character Artist. I always wanted to have a power where Kalyskah would turn into a winged monster that can fly around and dive into enemies' heads xD

Hey, a little Feedback. 1. I would rather see you adding new open world experiences and new dungeons instead of replacing existing content. 2. They way i understood and think it would suit best is: - You experience a tutorial and prelude in an open world as it was back in the times you where powerful. Some quest and some characters and events that lead to your slumber. - You then wake up in the starterdungeon, now no longer a turtorial area and a bit more challanging to make you feel that you are now weaker and struggle to get out there. - Then you reach the open world as it is now and embark on your journey and regain your powers. 3. I think a good mix similar to elden ring would fit the game best. An open world for questing and story and some dungeons for challanges and loot. Exploration beeing a thing so not everything is tied to a quest or the main storyline. 4. The tech demo should not be labled as kalyskah v0.2 but clearly labled as techdemo to distinguish it from the normal game iterations. Currently the version numbers are all over the place and i cant really tell as a patron if i am now downloading an old version or the newest one or the free... Getting the version numbers back to a clear ascending order would be nice for future iterations. 5. I like the tech demo, the way the powers work and how you can move around with them is quiet awesome. I would like it if the fly/hover would last way longer and have a better scale for using stamina tied to move speed and use of attacks and skills. Currently if you idle it last longer which is good but moving it drains your stamina completly in 1 second which is a bit rough considering you can fly almost indefinitly in swarm form. So less stamina drain for moving while hovering/flying and more stamina drain for attacking and using skills during flight would seem like a better balance. Keep up the great work, i like to see all this come together into the game.
