[Poll] Toysystem explanation + question

Hello everyone!

Following the votes on this post here, I'm working on the AI for the toysystem. The new mechanics will be togglable until it is 100% done, because what we have in mind will require a lot of new animations. An Artificial Intelligence is simplifying, nothing but programming a way for the computer to come up with decisions based on information they have. And for us to implement the AI we are implementing a system that I think some people might like: Kinks and Skills.

Each NPC will have their kinks like "Kissing, Chocking, etc" which are tags on the loops\interactions they can play, and also their skills. This means not just how good they are at something, but also how much they enjoy a pose with this skill requirement\kink. The same will apply to Kalyskah and at the character creator now, the player will be able to select her kinks. As usual, the default values will be her canon kinks but the choice will always be in your hands to adjust her preferences to better match your personal ones.

So based on what I meant, Sergey has been working on new sex animations for quite a while, and here's the question: Do you prefer more animation loops or interactions?

Interactions are when we have a loop playing, let's say Doggystyle loop, and then there's the red button on the right that says "Slap!", and then the NPC slaps Kaly. A loop is a pose that plays just because you've chosen, like the very doggy style.


I personally prefer to have more interactions than loops, because then each pose has a rich array of variations and possibilities that can give the player more agency on how they are playing. But I'm not entirely sure if we already have enough loops to start a process of solely focusing on adding interactions to what we have until we get at least 2 of them for each loop. One with Kalyskah actively triggering the interaction, and another for the NPC triggering it on her.


So what are your thoughts? Should we add more poses (loops) before we go and make an interaction pass and create new interactions for every loop, of should we first focus on increasing the library of poses we have?

Oh, Awesome to see we are on the same page on this poll! I'll get the animators to go through another interaction pass and add 2 to each pose. =)
