[Public Release] Version 0.18.7

Hello everyone, Corintio here!

Today we are bringing you what we consider to be the final state of patch 0.18. We included some improvements and fixed from the last patch, and we will work to release the next vampire+ update next month with some new features and quests.

I’m going to travel tomorrow, but we think this patch was tested enough to avoid at least the most horrible issues that could cause the game to turn unplayable or to crash, but please let us know if you find any issues and we can release a hotfix as soon as I’m back.

For the public that didn’t get the other releases of version 0.18, this is where we introduced archery, the first few lines about the puppeteers club, improved telekinesis, the user interface, added full support for controllers and a new menu where you can change the controls of the game among other several things you can check on our past changelogs:

About the control settings, just directions (WASD) that are still missing, I’m really sorry to the public with French keyboards and other types of inputs that can make it hard to use, but it’s planned for the next patch!

Fixes

Fixed LOD on some of the foliage;
Fixed navigation on character customisation menus with the controller;
Fixed how the game loads items, which will prevent situations where the claymore would be sold by 0 gold from happening;
Fixed dice roller events: The dice roller event dispatcher was being called every time the dice roll function was being called, which was causing the UI to show whenever a player got an item during a dialogue or cutscene;
Fixed crash when enemies were falling into the abyss at the dungeon;

Enhancements

Ragged clothes were redone

Improved appearance of Spells on the UI
Improved the aesthetics of the control settings UI
Improvements on Akrasiel’s appearance: She now will have wings and, when she fights, there’ll be a grey halo on top of her head.

The crystal cave will no longer be pitch black when the player enters it, also, the transition between darkness and day while entering will be smoother;

Features

New quick task (I don’t dare to call this an actual quest haha) where Kalyskah can fix her dress on the tailor at the marketplace of Millhaven. She can pay 300 gold to him or see if she can find gossamer in one of the caves of the game to make it cheaper, reducing the cost to 100 gold. This task was improvised on and don’t have voice acting yet.
We now have a new way to spawn items on the map by making them renewable every morning or every night, for now, this is being used only for the gossamer. But later we might expand this to add other items that can be harvested on the map.

The new Tailor merchant (That I'm really thinking about calling him Taylor, pun intended) has some items at his shop that used to be available only for NPCs. You might need to go to a bed or coffin and rest until 6am of the next day for his items to appear.

And talking about shops, we did that shops will renew their items every morning.
Added a new key on the video settings where the player can reset the game to the default values. We also brought fullscreen mode back, but when you chose it there will be a warning saying that it can cause crashes depending on the direct version you are using.
New enemy, SPIDERS! They are on a placeholder cave that eventually will be full of Drow... But I won't tell you where, let us know if you find them! =D
