[News] Technical issues and possible delay

If you've been with us for a while you might be already used to the fact that we are always uploading a new patch somewhere between day 26 and 29 of each month. But this month in particular after a lot of reviews on the landscape materials and other things we did to group the level into different sections that wouldn't be loaded at once, we ran into an unforeseen problem where the FPS dropped drastically. It's probably something simple to solve, but we still need to investigate the reason behind it and because of that, even though we are pretty much done with the latest quest development, the current state of the game is a bit unplayable. This is a picture in the editor, shows the FPS that for some reason we are getting:
We are doing our best to try to fix it and release a new patch before the month's end, but in case the level designer needs more time, I'm afraid we might need to delay our patch for the next month... The good side though, is that fixing the FPS on the artistic side of the level is done by someone that is not involved in the programming of new mechanics, writing of new quests or voicing of dialogues. So even if it takes a while for us to fix the framerate, we are still be moving forward with our development schedule to make sure this doesn't turn into a snowball.
Thank you very much for your support and something else that I think it's nice to share is the fact that even though we have this situation, the level design side of the game is done for the next four months or something around that. What we'll be doing on that front is basically optimizations, so that means that very soon we'll be able to move a bit of the budget we have used on it for the last months to some other area that is needing, like animations and new quests.
