Neonate+ release / Progress on development this week

Hello everyone!

As I mentioned on this post here, turned out that what I mentioned that could happen, ended up by happening, which is we releasing today the current Royal Blood patch but with the same changelog you see by following this link. So now our Neonate and Vampire patrons can test the new weather system! =D

And also as I said before: Even though we are quite busy reshaping the open world, the development didn't stop!

On the video, above you can see the improvements, we are doing on Kalyskah's movement. Her running animations will get way much more smooth since now she'll actually take some impulse before running, she'll be able to crouch, which will be a very important mechanic for the stealth system we are working on. And also, on the next patch, you'll be able to enter in first-person mode!

Although we might change our minds in the future, the combat is not meant to be played in first person because this would require new animations for every weapon, but I can see the first person view being very handy when you are exploring the world or trying another perspective during the more... romantic encounters!

Why improve the locomotion?
The system we had before was working quite well already, but from the start of the first semester of this month we'll be improving the way the player can feel that Kalyskah is a vampire, having a way to climb on rooftops and to crouch to sneak around is necessary because we want to make that on the reviewed town. Kalyskah will have several places that she can use to stalk and wait for her prey. Also, together with improving the general looks of the animations, we want to give more freedom to the player by giving them the opportunity to explore the environment.

But that's coming on the next update, what we have today is what's described here.
