[WIP] Creating Morphs

Hello everyone, Corintio here!

This week I was working on tasks based on the result on this poll about morphs now I'm almost done with adding morphs to all the clothes. The only ones left are the rags and the leather armour. But something interesting to show is that now that I can actually control how the character's chest will look like depending on the value that the player put on the slider, clothes will end up by looking better especially between each sinus. And well, since I was already with my hands at work doing some morphs, I also did this!

So now you will be able to move another slider on the character customisation to fulfil your dream of playing as an elven vampire! (I'm sure this is a feature no one has ever asked for but why not?)

(Corintio) It was looking like 'bubbles' before the morphs, I improved the looks from what we had before but when I tried to make it exactly as you said, bridging between each breast, the skinning kinda broke. The problem is that in between each breast, the chest is weighted to follow the upper_chest bone. So if I make the bridge too plane, we will have a piece of cloth floating between the breast as it bounces and worst, clipping when you make sudden curves. So I had to find a middle ground where it would look at least a bit more realistic but still be functional.

It looks good, but my only issue is that the construction of that outfit makes it look like it shouldn't stick to the sternum between the breasts, but rather bridge across the cleavage and push the breasts together. I know this is trickier for morph targets than having it conform to the body model, but it adds a layer of quality that is hard to define.

We did the base of what became Kalyskah's body in daz3d, but the face and textures were made by ourselves. This way we have the benefit of speeding things up when we model a new cloth without having her looking like she is a daz3d character. It made things faster but still, since she is not 100% done in daz, there is A LOT of hand work sculpting and adjusting and polishing things in blender once we bake some basic moprhs in daz to have a starting point.

The quality of your models is incredible. How do you find adding blend shapes to the clothing? I decided it would be too laborious and I’m investigating scaling boobs/butt bones and repositioning so I only have to skin clothing once. Still don’t know which approach is better
