[WIP] Map scale

Hello everyone, we are often asked about "how big" will the game be. So I decided to make this post to talk a little bit about the plans; 

But before we move on, a quick note about release schedule:
         
We had a small situation that slowed down the process of making the cutscene, so we will probably have the reschedule it for the first week of next month in order to get everything right. The idea is that people that play the final version of 0.8 will be able to have disclosure from the plot of Kalysakh waking up, to finding a safe haven plus a village with more humans.
        As for the public release, we find better not to delay it to November and keep the idea of releasing at the end of October, since the game was heavily improved since version 0.7. The reason for puling the patron release a week after and keeping the public as it was planed, is the fact that we think it would be best for us to spread the word around and make new trailers with the open-world already playable for newcomers. Also because the last public update was two months ago. Keeping the plan of releasing 0.8 for the public at the end of October would make it 3 months.

Back to the topic of how big the world is: 

      The idea is that the main story will be divided into 3 chapters. Each of them opening a little bit more of the map and, of course, nothing would hold us from adding more chapters in the future in case we feel like there are other places that Kalyskah can go after she is done with her main obsession, like adding a new continent or island, if the budget allows it.

      The first chapter is centred on a quarantine that the province of Thulgatha is under, and this chapter is called "The Vicious Seed". A name that a few of you, that might have stumbled on old things from the old project with the old team, might be familiar with. On this chapter, Kaly will be going after her blood gem. The second and the third are a bit more complicated, but it is related to that vampire named Laver that Kalyskah talks about with Merishya at the dungeon. And they will happen after the quarantine is dealt with. So here you will see a few pictures about areas that we plan to add in the future (When they happen will depend on our budget to speed up the level design):

Starting Graveyard

In red, you will see where our neonate+ patrons can explore, and in green, you will see where we are actually focusing our quests at the moment to avoid making an immense and empty world:

The whole area in orange is what's under the quarantine, and until Kalyskah doesn't solve the "Vicious seed" problem, she won't be able to leave it. So we will probably gonna be working only on this orange area for the next 6 to 8 months. Time can be reduced in case of the budget increase, but right now I'm only making plans with what we have.

As you can see, what we have planned is gigantic! It might not be as MASSIVE as games like Skyrim but it should have some interesting biomes to explore, and it should be realistically doable without empty promises in case everything works out all right as we move forward on the development.

You need to go to your appdata folder and then delete the "Kalyskah_RPG" folder there. The new version is indeed incompatible with the old ones and you can see a step by step of how to delete this folder I mentioned at the end of this post here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/release-version-29853191

I have started the game recently. And option to load the game was inactive in main menu. Seems that saves were somehow lost or incompatible with new version. So I decided to start a new game. But when I did this there were infinite loading screen and nothing happened ...
