Small update
Added 2019-08-25 18:48:09 +0000 UTCHello!
We managed to find out what was causing weird rotations during the sex scenes and we already fixed, releasing a hotfix for version 0.8.8 =)

This is all being tweaked for the next releases. And the idea is that completely enjoying the interactions would be for the gallery of for scenes where fail\sucess doesn't matter. Like a normal romance between characters that don't have any weight on the story that will be said after.

2019-08-29 03:37:44 +0000 UTCMaybe additional mechanic during sex scenes could add some level of interactivity and variety. For instance that Kalyshkah has to win some kind of "sex fight" with NPC in order to acquire his (or her) favour or respect. And after that the level of difficulty of this minigame decreases and it became not so easy to fail. But still if you fail mini-game too much times then level of favour (or attraction - I don't know how to name it) by NPC decreases and you should "win" some more "sex battles" to achieve it again. But also there should be general setting of difficulty for this mini-game so that you set "very easy" (for example) and practically unable to fail for those players who just wants to take pleasure and don't want any challenge of "sex" scenes. Or if you played this mini-game already a lot and just got tired of it. Just like this lockpicking mini-game in Skyrim which implementation is very weak. But still if the mini-game is enabled there could be mechanics to open new poses or kind of sex if you win minigames more. Or even different NPC has their sexual preferences (that vary depending from NPC to NPC). And so at the start they will agree for only those kinds of intercourse that they prefer. But after your relationship progress you could open other kinds, poses for instance... What I don't like in current mechanics is when instead of watching the sex scene itself game forces me to look at some "levels", "bars" and control their state every moment in order to not fail. So it distracts from the process completely. I cannot get any pleasure, because (even if you win) you watched the progress bar located in the corner of the screen for a half of the time. But this is not something I am interested in at all... So the right solution there (IMHO) that these "bars" should be integrated somehow in the gameplay itself so that it shall not distract you from the main action. Maybe to create some light colored halo around NPC and PC, so player could control the state, but still be involved... Or/ and show this info by facial expressions of actors. Currently bars look very cheap and annoying in a way of some old flash browser games. I believe there should be more creative way to do it. Otherwise it is better to get rid of them and don't blow user's brain... And personally I just didn't perceive this stamina/ arousal interface user friendly, because even after reading explanation in release notes I was not able to understand how to deal with all that. It is rocket science, baby... ;-)

2019-08-28 20:08:52 +0000 UTCWe are still tuning the scenes. The 'failure' outcome will be more related to the NPC personality and player behaviour related to this than something related to 'stamina' and 'arousal' like it is at the moment. For now, we are just kinda proving the concept, but in the future, Kalyskah will be able to succeed on an easier manner and the thing will be more about 'how' she succeded than if. Because if she is failing or not will become obvious when we add artificial intelligence, interaction rejections and new voice lines. But I think we will still take something around 3 months to have this system working as intended.

2019-08-26 19:26:13 +0000 UTCHad an opportunity to try the new update. I'm honestly not a fan of adding gameplay to the scenes and really not a fan of having a failure outcome in that gameplay. I feel like it turns something I'm supposed to enjoy into a chore and removes most of the player choice from the scenes. The new combat feels good. More responsive to player input and less exploitable.
