Hello Alexander! Hairworks is something that we kinda dream of using someday, to be honest =) As for Daz, we do use it on our workflow to make the cloth skinning and creation of facial expressions quicker, but we reshape and retexture everything to make sure that our character look more unique.

2019-06-27 16:41:01 +0000 UTCI would suggest Daz3D for face. Though it needs some tweaking with morphs and not as accurate as sculpting. Hairworks for hairs. Has some minor issues, and the major one is the aliasing and lack of Forward Rendering support. This is our team adult game approach. Keep in mind though we got DQ for Daz models and GameWorks special UE4 build. Personally I am a developer of Hairworks plugin for Unity. But hair design is same for both engines.
