Titania Style Exploration
Added 2024-02-15 06:09:36 +0000 UTCOver the past months been thinking of Titania in the background. Where Id want it to go, what id like the vibe style to be etc. and upon looking back at my ref sheet I did, I felt her overall proportions did not allow for the emotions That I was imagining.
So I drew out a head with some new anatomy to test the waters again. Increasing eye size, brow, and mouth size. Removing some rigidness to the shapes, while also removing lines that restricted me from more exaggerated expressions. The older model did not allow for the cartoonishly huge teeth gritting looks I pictured in my head.
In the eye lid department I also added a space between top and lower lid. The solid black all away around added too much of a flatness.
I'm sure more tweaks are bound to come, but this updated head feels like a nice "In between" from the original drawing (Image 3) and the last ref sheet I made (Image 2). on the hunt for a design language that can both look very badass when it needs to be, and very sexy when it needs to be!

This is how to do it! Experiment with style and play around with shapes! Don't get too boxed in by a design idea, just get loose and see where it takes you! Love the faces and poses here!
