Quick Update

Last week I finished penciling the first page of the newest JL8 update, and yesterday I finished penciling the second. It stands to be a four page update, so we’re about 25% of the way there, although today I’ve already begun inking the first page, so the update’s even a little further along than that. Given how volatile things have been this year, I’m a little reluctant to project any specific date for when it will be completed, but I’m really hoping that the update will be ready by the end of this month. Rest assured, I’m dedicating as much time to working on JL8 as I can while also trying to get caught up on overdue commissions that I was unable to produce during my extended stay on the Disabled List.
Speaking of commissions, it’s November, which means the holidays are fast approaching. I will be having my annual Black Friday commission sale this year, and I’m planning to kick it off probably a week from Friday, so November 15th. I’ll be offering single characters, double characters, and maybe even a few more options this year for anyone that’s interested, all with guaranteed Christmas delivery. International orders will be open for purchase as well, but due to international shipping, I can’t guarantee Christmas arrival for those. I’ll be posting more information the closer we get to the sale, so be sure to keep an eye out! There may even be a sale for merchandise, for those who aren’t interested in getting a custom piece of art. Stay tuned!
As always, thank you so much for your continued patience and support while I get my legs back under me. This year has been nuts, and it means a lot that you all have given me the time and space needed to recollect myself and heal properly. You’re the best fanbase I guy could ask for.
